With lockpicks readily available to buy on the internet and thieves finding new ways to gain access to vehicles, Replocks are a new and innovative way to protect your van and it’s contents – by replacing the existing key and lock with a high security one.
What are Replocks?
Replocks are replacement door locks that provide added security for your van. Where standard vehicle locks are vulnerable to being lockpicked or damaged to gain entry, Replocks alleviate this vulnerability by replacing the factory fitted door lock with a security lock complete with security keys.
Do holes have to be drilled into my van?
Unlike deadlocks, Replocks offer an alternative to drilling into the panels on your van to improve security. They replace the existing door lock and are 100% reversible. Once we have fitted your new RepLock, your existing lock is returned to you.
What is the cost of installation?
The cost of installation is dependent on what vehicle you have. For an accurate quote, please contact us and a technician will be able to help.
How long do they take to fit?
From start to finish at our workshop, we aim to have your new Replock fitted in less than 1 hour 30 minutes. In some cases, if your original lock has been damaged previously, it can take slightly longer.
My original lock has been damaged, is this a problem?
Whist it is better to have your Replock fitted before your original lock has been damaged, we do understand that hindsight is a wonderful thing. It is usually possible to install a Replock if the original lock has been damaged
Will the new lock affect the central locking?
The installation of a Replock does not affect your central locking at all. In most cases, the Replock is rarely used; only in such cases as if the battery goes flat and you are unable to gain entry to the vehicle using your remote fob.
